Another Gospel Student Edition – Book Club for Teens
Sep 18, Sep 25, Oct 2, Oct 9, Oct 16, Oct 23 | 4:00pm PT/7:00pm ET |
Progressive Christianity is reshaping how a generation understands sin, salvation, and the authority of Scripture, often using Christian language while emptying it of Christian meaning. In Another Gospel, Alisa Childers traces her own path into and out of this movement, giving students a firsthand account of how deconstruction happens and what historic, biblical Christianity actually teaches in response.
This matters for young people specifically. Teens are approached with these ideas earlier than most parents realize, on social media, in youth culture, and sometimes in their own churches. This group gives them the doctrinal grounding and discernment to recognize another gospel when they meet it, and to hold fast to the faith that was once for all delivered to the saints (Jude 3).
Format: 6 weeks, 2 chapters per week
When: Fridays, 4:00–5:30pm PT/7:00-8:30pm ET
Starts: September 18, 2026
Ends: October 23, 2026
Where: Virtual, via Zoom
Capacity: 10 students
Book: Students should purchase their own copy of Another Gospel, Student Edition by Alisa Childers
Note for parents: Marketing for this event is tricky. We have advertised it on Facebook and our other platforms where teens don't normally hang out. So we know parents will likely see it first. But please do us a favor and make sure that your student actually wants to participate in this. We don't want them to feel coerced by their parents to show up. But if they are genuinely interested in being in the book club, we'd love to have them!
